Terms & Conditions
These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern your participation in the peer-to-peer fundraising event ("Event") organised by Legacy Club Services ("Charity"), a registered charity in Australia ABN 22000048868, Charity Fundraising Number 22848.
- Fundraising Authority
By participating in the Event, you acknowledge and agree that Charity has the necessary authority to conduct fundraising activities in accordance with relevant Australian laws and regulations.
- Participation
2.1 Eligibility: Participation in the Event is open to individuals and teams who are residents of Australia and are aged 18 years or older.
2.2 Registration: To participate, individuals or team leaders must register through Charity's official website or designated platform. By registering, participants agree to abide by these Terms.
2.3 Fundraising Commitment: Participants commit to raising funds for Charity in accordance with the guidelines provided by Charity. Participants are responsible for setting up their fundraising pages and promoting their participation in the Event.
- Fundraising Guidelines
3.1 Compliance: All fundraising activities must comply with Australian fundraising laws and regulations. Participants are responsible for ensuring that their fundraising efforts are lawful and ethical.
3.2 Use of Funds: Funds raised through the Event will be used to support Charity's mission and programs as outlined on Charity's official website or fundraising materials.
- Liability
4.1 Indemnification: Participants agree to indemnify and hold Charity harmless from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising out of or related to their participation in the Event, including but not limited to fundraising activities, communications, and interactions with donors.
4.2 Limitation of Liability: Charity shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with the Event, including but not limited to lost profits, loss of data, or loss of goodwill.
- Miscellaneous
5.1 Modification: Charity reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. Any changes will be communicated to participants via email or through Charity's official channels.
5.2 Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Australia. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
By participating in the Event, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these Terms and any guidelines provided by Charity. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you should not participate in the Event.
