"I’m grateful, very grateful indeed.
As I’ve said before - Legacy is an
important service that helps a lot of
good people become better people."
– Noah
Noah, a young boy with cystic fibrosis, lost his father Duncan, an Australian Army officer, to bone cancer when he was just 12. Their close bond was filled with special moments, like camping trips and Christmas magic. After Duncan’s passing, Legacy stepped in to support Noah through his grief.
Noah was paired with Ross, a volunteer Legatee, who became a mentor and friend. Now 17, Noah is grateful for the guidance and support he received, including counselling and education grants.
Legacy continues to help families like Noah’s, ensuring they receive the care they need after the loss of a loved one.

Legacy is a charity that exists to care for military families
Legacy started as a promise from one digger to another on the battlefield.
"Don't worry mate, I'll take care of your family."
100 years later, Legacy still exists to care for and support the military families
of our returned soldiers.
At Legacy, we know that family is the most important thing.
