Well hello party people! Bring your squad of friends, family and colleagues together and host your very own event to raise funds for our veterans’ families.
From brekky at dawn to croquet on the lawn, create an event that you’d love to host, and your favourite people will be keen to attend. It’s an opportunity to come together and have fun, knowing you’re helping others.
Legacy is all about family, specifically veterans' families
For over 100 years Legacy clubs and volunteers have been supporting the families of the women and men who have given their lives or their health for our country.
Legacy has been there for the partners and children of our veterans who have paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. When a veteran's family faces times of grief, hardship or need, we provide essential social, financial and developmental assistance that they rely on each day.

Inspiration for your fundraising event – or go your own way
Fancy Dress Party
70s disco? Great Gatsby? Superhero style?
A fancy dress party is a great way to liven things up and bring people together. Just choose a theme and away you go! To raise funds, charge an entry fee and for an extra laugh give out ‘best costume’ awards on the night!
Breakfast or Brunch
Whether it’s bacon on the backyard BBQ, morning-time mimosas or pastries in the office, there’s a million ways to host a brekky or brunch. Choose one that suits your style and invite friends to start the day in a meaningful way. You can ask for donations on the day or in advance.
Talent Show
Is your squad brimming with frustrated singers, talented jugglers and other performers looking for an opportunity to shine?
Host a talent show and give them the stage they’re yearning for! Charge an admission fee and let the fun begin. You can even do it virtually if you prefer.
How you can help
Help children chase their dreams
The money you raise will help veteran’s children, who often grow up with more adversity than other families, to achieve their goals – both academic and extra-curricular (sport, music etc.).
Give social support & connection
Your fundraiser will support our veteran’s families in their times of loss and grief. Your challenge will help us be there to care for their emotional well-being.
Provide financial support
Your fundraising will help our families have their basic needs met. Your efforts will help Legacy continue to advocate for the rights and benefits of veterans and their families.
